Mauricio Pochettino has praised Chelsea forward Nicolas Jackson, insisting he has the potential to be a prolific striker.
Chelsea face Brighton on Wednesday night in a Premier League clash that is crucial for their European football hopes.
Pochettino’s men riding on their recent form, are eager to pick all three points from the encounter, banking on their forward Jackson, who has scored consecutively in the club’s last three games.
The Blues boss believes that the Senegalese forward has shown signs of joining the league of top strikers.
“Nico Jackson has the potential to be a fantastic striker. It’s about patience and time.
“He’s been working really hard, he’s changing the opinion. I am so happy that now people are starting to see Nico in the way we saw,” the Argentine gaffer added.
The game at the American Express Community Stadium is slated for 7:45pm.
