Kylian Mbappé has declined a recommendation made by the Ligue de Football Professionnel’s (LFP) legal committee.
The committee had advised that Mbappé engage in mediation with Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) to resolve his ongoing dispute over unpaid wages and bonuses.
The Real Madrid forward is claiming approximately €55 million from his former club, which he asserts is owed to him from his time at PSG.
This dispute originates from an alleged verbal agreement made during Mbappé’s contract renewal with PSG in 2022. According to this agreement, Mbappé supposedly consented to forgo certain financial benefits if he left the club on a free transfer.

GistReel Sport reported that PSG has welcomed the LFP’s mediation recommendation, highlighting their efforts over the past months to address and resolve the issue.
Despite this, Mbappé has rejected the mediation proposal, thus extending the duration of the conflict.
