PSG is looking to offload the forward during this transfer window since he declined extending his contract at the Parc des Princes. There are concerns that Real Madrid is banking on signing Mbappe for free next year, and PSG fears that he has already made a commitment to Los Blancos.

Al-Hilal, a Saudi Arabian club, reportedly had a world-record €300 million (£257.7 million) bid accepted by PSG, but Mbappe refused to engage in talks regarding a move to the Middle East.

While PSG's options to offload Mbappe seem limited, Liverpool is said to be considering a surprising loan approach for the French international.

In the midst of reports suggesting Paris Saint-Germain is in discussions with Liverpool for a loan transfer of Kylian Mbappe, Chelsea has now entered the race with a player-plus-cash proposal.

Details regarding the Chelsea players that could be involved in the negotiations remain uncertain. However, names like Romelu Lukaku, Callum Hudson-Odoi, Malang Sarr, and Hakim Ziyech, the latter of whom almost joined PSG in January before the deal fell through, are among those potentially considered for the deal.

If Mbappe joins Stamford Bridge, he will reinforce an attack that has already been bolstered by the signings of Christopher Nkunku and Nicolas Jackson, along with two young additions in Angelo Gabriel and Diego Moreira.

It's worth noting that Mbappe had a trial at Chelsea when he was 10-years-old, but the Blues decided against signing him after he failed to score in an 8-0 match against Charlton.

In the past, the Frenchman has expressed admiration for Liverpool, even revealing that he held talks with them before eventually making a move from Monaco to PSG.
