Sources have indicated that Derby County proposed a loan deal for the talented 18-year-old this season, but Jurgen Klopp intervened to prevent his departure.

Klopp is reportedly keen on keeping Clark at Liverpool and plans to integrate him into the first-team squad for the current season. With Liverpool participating in competitions like the Europa League, FA Cup, and EFL Cup, Klopp intends to provide Bobby Clark with playing time as he rotates his squad during the autumn and winter months.

Bobby Clark, who joined Liverpool from Newcastle United's academy in 2021, has already made two senior appearances for the Reds. He made his debut off the bench in a memorable 9-0 victory over Bournemouth last year.

Clark had his first start for Jurgen Klopp's team in an EFL Cup third-round match against Derby County. In the Premier League 2, he recorded two goals and two assists in 22 games.

The young talent impressed during Liverpool's pre-season and continued to shine in the Under-21s Premier League 2 opener against Everton, contributing with a goal and two assists in a 4-0 victory.

Liverpool underwent significant changes in their midfield since the previous season, parting ways with notable players like Jordan Henderson, Fabinho, Naby Keita, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, James Milner, Leighton Clarkson, and Tyler Morton.
