Although Chelsea can no longer bring in any new signings, there remains the possibility of some departures, with Saudi club Al Nassr reportedly pushing to acquire a Blues forward, Angelo Gabriel.
Stamford Bridge has seen significant changes to Enzo Maresca’s first-team squad this summer, with numerous players coming and going.
Players like Pedro Neto, Joao Felix, Jadon Sancho, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, and Filip Jorgensen have been added to bolster Maresca’s squad depth.
These arrivals have been balanced by the departures of Conor Gallagher, Romelu Lukaku, Ian Maatsen, Lewis Hall, and Omari Hutchison, while Raheem Sterling, Trevor Chalobah, and Kepa have gone out on loan.
Now, another exit might be on the horizon if Al Nassr in the Saudi Pro League gets their way.
Brazilian winger Angelo Gabriel is being linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge, with journalist Vene Casagrande reporting that Al Nassr has made several offers to sign the Chelsea youngster. The Blues, however, are holding out for a £33 million fee.
He said on Instagram: “Created by Santos, Angelo is close to moving to Al Nassr, Cristiano Ronaldo’s club. The Arab team’s idea is for the 19-year-old striker to fill the last U21 foreign vacancy.
“Al Nassr offered Chelsea 25 million euros, which was rejected. The Saudi Arabians went up to 30 million euros, but the English team wants 40 million euros. Negotiations are ongoing. Angelo played for Strasbourg, in France, on loan last season.”
