Prior to the official announcement by Bournemouth, Max Aarons had successfully undergone a medical evaluation with Daniel Farke's Leeds team.

While the financial details were not explicitly disclosed by Bournemouth, reports from British media indicate that the accomplished England Under-21 international secured a move to the Cherries for an initial fee of £9 million, with the potential to rise substantially to £12 million through performance-related incentives.

Bournemouth chief executive Neill Blake conveyed his enthusiasm, stating, "We are delighted to extend a warm welcome to Max at the club. His skill set and physical attributes align seamlessly with our tactical approach, rendering him a valuable asset to both our team and style of play. We eagerly anticipate collaborating with him, and have every confidence that Max will significantly enhance our squad."

Max Aarons' departure from Norwich culminates a commendable seven-year tenure at Carrow Road, which encompassed his involvement in Luton Town's youth academy from 2009 to 2016 prior to his association with the Canaries. Over the course of his time at Norwich, the 23-year-old showcased his prowess in 213 appearances for the senior team, contributing six goals and creating 17 more opportunities for his teammates.

In the past, Aarons had attracted attention from prestigious clubs such as Manchester United and Bayern Munich. Interestingly, Barcelona's purported attempts to secure Aarons with two bids during the summer of 2020 reportedly fell short.

Marking a significant addition to Bournemouth's roster, Aarons becomes the second signing of the day following the arrival of compatriot Alex Scott to the Vitality Stadium. Notably, several other notable acquisitions including Milos Kerkez, Ionut Radu, Romain Faivre, and Justin Kluivert have also bolstered the Cherries' squad this summer.

Anticipating his potential debut, Aarons could potentially make his inaugural appearance for Iraola's contingent during their Premier League opener at home against West Ham United on a Saturday afternoon.
