In their first pre-season game at their Tegernsee training camp, Bayern Munich displayed their goal-scoring prowess, with an incredible thirteen players contributing to the scoreline. Standout performances came from Jamal Musiala, Mathys Tel, and Marcel Sabitzer, each securing five goals during the match.

The dominant display was a perfect start for Bayern Munich as they aimed to build on their success from the previous season, where they clinched the Bundesliga title on the final day but fell short in the Champions League.

Jamal Musiala set the tone early by opening the scoring within three minutes, and the relentless onslaught of goals did not let up from there. By half-time, Bayern had already amassed an astonishing 18-0 lead, with Musiala and Mathys Tel both bagging five goals before the break, while Gnabry completed a hat-trick.

Sane, Alphonso Davies, Konrad Laimer, Noussair Mazraoui, and Dayot Upamecano also found the net, leaving Rottach-Egern struggling to catch their breath. Although Bayern took their foot off the gas slightly in the second half, they still managed to score nine more goals.

Marcel Sabitzer put on an exceptional performance in the second half, scoring five goals in just a 22-minute period, further highlighting Bayern's complete dominance. The Rottach-Egern goalkeeper deserves commendation for preventing an even more lopsided scoreline with some heroic saves.

Bayern's relentless pursuit of goals finally paid off when they faced the relentless Sadio Mane, who managed to hold them at bay until the 89th minute. Mane, a former Liverpool forward, finally found the back of the net, but his expression remained unyielding as he jogged back to the half-way line.

The final 27-0 scoreline surpassed previous results against the same opponents, with Bayern having defeated Rottach-Egern 20-2 in 2018 and 23-0 in 2019. The astonishing outcome prompted a mix of bemusement from neutral fans and a touch of disappointment from Bayern supporters, who have grown accustomed to their team's regular victories.

Bayern Munich's upcoming matches in their pre-season tour include a highly anticipated clash with treble-winning Manchester City in Japan on July 26, as well as fixtures against Liverpool in Singapore and Monaco.
