Local authorities have apprehended a 26-year-old man believed to be involved in fraudulent online activities commonly known as a “Yahoo boy,” after a human skull was discovered in his residence.

The suspect, identified as Franklin Akinyosuyi, a photographer and owner of a boutique, was taken into custody when a disturbing find was uncovered at his Elewuro area apartment in Ondo Town.

The unsettling discovery was made by the landlord's children, who stumbled upon a bag containing human skull and bones inside the suspect’s dwelling.

Promptly alarmed, the children informed their father, who quickly contacted local police authorities.

The Police Public Relations Officer (PRO) in the state, Olufumilayo Odunlami-Omisanya, stated that the landlord confronted Akinyosuyi after his children disclosed the disturbing contents of the bag.

Upon his arrest, Akinyosuyi reportedly claimed that a native doctor in Osun State had given him the human skull and bones as a means to enhance his business.

“Following his arrest, he asserted that he received the items from a Native Doctor in Osun State to improve his business. The investigation is ongoing, and the suspect remains in custody.”
