This plea comes in response to the APC's assertion that opposition parties are behind protests emerging across Nigeria, with the PDP contending that the ruling party should acknowledge its failure in addressing the hardships faced by citizens and work towards viable solutions.

In a counterstatement, the APC, represented by its National Publicity Secretary, Mr Felix Morka, alleged that protests in Niger and Kano States were orchestrated by opposition parties, particularly in response to the prevailing economic crisis.

Responding to these claims, PDP, through its National Publicity Secretary, Debo Ologunagba, expressed disappointment in President Tinubu's absence during these critical times, highlighting his holiday in France at the expense of the Nigerian treasury.

The PDP emphasized the need for the APC to acknowledge the widespread frustration due to what they described as suffocating economic and social policies, a lax approach to security, and extensive corruption within the Tinubu administration.

Calling for transparency, the PDP urged the APC to refrain from pointing fingers at the opposition and instead admit to the shortcomings of its policies. The party insisted on immediate and concrete actions to compel President Tinubu to lift his metaphorical knees off the necks of Nigerians, allowing them much-needed relief from the challenges they face.
