Atiku Abubakar, and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), leads a protest to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) headquarters in Abuja.[/b]
This comes following Tinubu’s declaration as the winner of the election with 8,794,726 votes, defeating Atiku Abubakar who received 6,984,520 votes, and Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP), who garnered 6,101,533 votes.[/b]
Atiku and Obi have both filed petitions at the presidential election tribunal challenging the victory of Tinubu.
The PDP leaders and their followers, all dressed in black, however, took to the streets to protest against the recently held presidential election on Monday 6th, March.
