Simisola Ogunleye who is popularly known as Simi is a Nigerian Afropop singer, songwriter, and actress.

Simi attained her primary and secondary education at Ikorodu, Lagos State and later proceeded to Covenant University where she earned a degree in Mass Communication.
She began her musical career at a local church choir where she was known as a good dancer and vocal singer.
Simisola wrote her first song when she was only 10 years old. While she began her professional trade in 2008 following the release of her debut studio album "Ogaju" which hosted songs like "Iya Temi" and "Ara lle" courtesy of Samklef production.
