Days after Nigerian music super star, Tiwa Savage called out American music superstar, Beyonce for not speaking out on the current situation in Nigeria, she has finally heeded.
The ‘Brown Skin Girl’ lead singer took to her verified account on popular photo and video sharing social network, Instagram with over 155 million followers to react to the current situation in the country.
Beyonce in her text said she is heartbroken to see the brutality which she tagged as ‘senseless’ taking place in Nigeria.
Beyonce noted that there has to be an end to SARS, she further stated her brand is working on partnerships with youth organizations to provide support for those protesting for change.
She said they are collaborating with coalitions to provide emergency healthcare, food and shelter.
She however ended the text with the words,
”To our Nigerian sisters and brothers, we stand with you.”
