Tolanibaj, a former contestant on Big Brother Naija, has publicly distanced herself from feminism, asserting that women shouldn't engage in competition with men.
Expressing her viewpoint on her podcast, the reality TV personality and disc jockey revealed that she disagrees with the principles of feminism, asserting that women are meant to complement men, not compete with them.
According to Tolanibaj, women have roles that involve enhancing and complementing males, and she doesn't subscribe to the idea that men and women are created equal. Consequently, she does not identify as a feminist.
In her own words,
“I feel like women are not supposed to compete with men; they are just supposed to complement them. That’s why I can’t say I am a feminist because I don’t see how if a man is doing gra gra, as a woman, I should be doing gra gra too,” she stated.
