Online personality, VeryDarkMan has refused to step down from the controversy, intensifying the situation by challenging Falz’s family to take legal action against him over the leaked audio implicating them in Bobrisky's alleged bribery scheme.
The tension escalated when Falz’s sister threatened legal action against VeryDarkMan for spreading the audio, which sparked a fiery response from the online personality. He posted a video in which he defiantly responded, fueling the ongoing debate surrounding the leaked recording.
The leaked recording reportedly involves Bobrisky, who allegedly claimed to have bribed officials from the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to avoid serving time in prison, instead spending his sentence in a private apartment.
Further intensifying the matter, Bobrisky is said to have offered a bribe of N10 million to Falz and his father, Femi Falana, a highly respected lawyer, in order to evade incarceration. These claims have been vehemently denied by Falz, while his sister has vowed to take legal action against VeryDarkMan for sharing the recording.
In his video response, VeryDarkMan questioned the outrage from Falz’s family, pointing out that their names were directly mentioned in the leaked audio. He went further to challenge them to take legal action against him, boldly stating, “Was your father’s name not in the recording? Was Falz’s name not in the recording?... If it’s too bad, you can lock me up for 6 months or 1 year.”
