The opening night of the 9th edition of the Africa Magic Viewers' Choice Awards (AMVCA) witnessed Big Brother stars Venita Akpofure and Yemi Cregx stealing the show. The event, which began with a cultural celebration, took place at the Federal Palace Hotel and Casino in Lagos on Thursday, May 18. This cultural event served as a prelude to the main award show scheduled for Saturday, May 20 in Lagos.
Venita Akpofure made a striking appearance on the red carpet, donning a well-tailored pink corset George dress. She adorned her head with a large gele (headwrap) and accessorized with beautiful bead jewelry on her ears, neck, and wrist, showcasing her appreciation for the traditions and aesthetics of the Urhobo culture.
Yemi Cregx, on the other hand, exuded regal elegance in his crimson-red agbada, complemented by a matching fur draped over his shoulders. He also wore beaded accessories that added a touch of finesse to his impeccable ensemble.
Ultimately, Venita Akpofure and Yemi Cregx were recognized as the winners in the best-dressed category on the opening night of the AMVCA.
