An emerging artist has taken to Twitter to express frustration with celebrity transgender, Bobrisky, accusing him of not posting his music or responding to messages despite being paid 200k for an advert.
The artist, using the handle @gafgold, shared screenshots of his conversation with Bobrisky, where he initially inquired about the cost of running an advert. Bobrisky quoted 1 million, but the artist explained he only had 200k, which he sent to Bobrisky on November 18th.
Despite Bobrisky's assurance of posting the advert on the same day as payment, the artist claims to have received no response for two weeks. In a plea on Twitter, @gafgold implores Nigerians to help him persuade Bobrisky to refund the money.
In his words: "Hi, my fellow Nigerians, please help me beg Bobrisky to refund me... This is a scam. You all should stop doing this to upcoming artists. It’s not easy for us... Bobrisky, kindly refund me before I take legal action… Thank you."
Bobrisky eventually responded after the artist shared the conversation publicly, warning him not to reach out again. The artist posted screenshots of their interaction, detailing the alleged payment and subsequent lack of response.
Below are the images shared by the artist as proof of his claims:
