Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Tolanibaj, speaks out about the exploitation of influencers by individuals in positions of authority, particularly concerning demands for sexual favors.
During a conversation with co-host Moet Abebe on the latest episode of the Bahd And Boujee Podcast, Tolanibaj expressed concern about the undisclosed behaviors some influencers engage in, which they may not openly acknowledge.
She refrained from mentioning specific names to avoid potential legal repercussions but highlighted the disturbing trend of influential figures abusing their status to seek sexual favors from influencers.
According to Tolanibaj, this exploitation is not limited to a specific gender; both men and women are affected by it.
“There are some people in power taking advantage of influencers for sexual favors. Both men and women. There are some young male influencers who are doing certain things that they are not proud of for money,” she stated.
Tolanibaj admitted her reluctance to name individuals due to the fear of legal consequences. She explained, “I don’t want to mention names because I’m scared of handcuffs. I don’t want to be arrested.”
“The economy is hard and I would not judge or blame anybody doing certain things for money. But I will advise, put your pride first and respect yourself more,” she added.
