As reported by Kemi Filani, Funke Akindele achieved a historic milestone in the Nigerian film industry, breaking records as the first Nollywood film to gross a billion naira in a remarkably short period.

The accomplished filmmaker amassed an impressive fortune of one billion, sixty million, seven hundred and eleven thousand, four hundred and ninety-one dollars, propelled by the success of her films, including "A Tribe Called Judah," "Battle On Buka Street," and "Omo Ghetto The Saga." These films now hold the prestigious title of the highest-earning Nollywood films of all time, according to the Wikipedia Nollywood grossing table.

In response to this remarkable feat, Tobi Makinde, one of the directors of the celebrated film, took to his Instagram page to laud Funke Akindele. He described her as an Amazon and stated that she has "carved her name on a rock, and it can never be erased." Tobi emphasized that she serves as a testament to the idea that one can achieve excellence by putting God first and staying determined.
