The Lagos state police have officially disclosed their findings from the investigation into the Lekki apartment of the late musician, Mohbad. These revelations were presented during a press conference held on Friday, October 6, where the commissioner of police for Lagos State, Idowu Owohunwa, provided updates on the circumstances surrounding Mohbad's tragic death.
During the investigation, several members of the Nigerian Police Force visited Mohbad's residence in Lekki, Lagos State, with the primary aim of retrieving CCTV footage that could shed light on the events leading to the singer's passing. However, they encountered a setback as they discovered that the CCTV camera had been damaged, rendering it unable to provide any valuable information about the incident.
Despite this setback, the police did make some discoveries within Mohbad's home. Notably, they found syringes and drug residue, which were identified as having been used by the assistant nurse responsible for Mohbad's treatment. These findings add a layer of complexity to the investigation into the circumstances of the musician's death.
The police's efforts to unravel the truth surrounding Mohbad's passing continue, and these discoveries are expected to play a crucial role in understanding the events that transpired in his Lekki apartment.
