Terry G boldly stated that contrary to popular belief, secular musicians, including himself, do not praise God in their music; rather, their songs directly glorify the devil.

Using himself as an example, the singer emphasized that his genre of music is secular, not gospel, and as such, it does not glorify God. He expressed, "I am a secular musician. I sing for the devil. We [secular musicians] sing for the devil, we praise the devil. We don’t glorify God. Abi all this one wey we dey do, you think say na God we dey do am for?"
