Nigerian singer, Teniola Apata, popularly known as Teni, has issued a warning to ladies about a new Valentine's Day strategy devised by Nigerian men ahead of the AFCON finals, where the Super Eagles of Nigeria face Ivory Coast for the African Cup of Nations trophy on Sunday, February 11.
Teni has now alerted Nigerian women to the impending Valentine’s Day scam, in which men will ask them to watch the AFCON finals at their homes.
She revealed that having them without purchasing a Valentine’s Day present is a novel tactic.
She captioned the video: “UPDATEEEE!!!!! NO LET THEM USE AFCON SCAM YOU O! VALENTINE AROUND THE CORNER QUEENS, STAY FOCUSED”
