The video captured passengers squeezed together, some sitting on each other's laps, while others perched on top of the vehicle due to lack of space inside the car.

Witnessing the packed conditions, the road safety officer expressed his dismay, stating, "Because you’re going for burial, you’ll now kill other people. How can you load people like this, for God's sake?"

During the incident, one of the officers confirmed to his colleagues that the car's brakes were faulty as they attempted to move the overloaded vehicle.

The sight elicited mixed reactions from netizens, with some expressing concern over the risky situation.

@itz_dimplified reacted, questioning, "Do they have to go for the burial? What if there was an accident?"

@toluwani_olamide commented humorously, "this driver don take the word 'dead body go surplus' seriously."

@the_main_man001 jokingly suggested, "Move them like that go station 🤣."

@julietjohn5063 reflected, "Most times they will enter boot. It is one thing to be poor and another to show the world how poor you are."

@abigailcute79 inquired, "How will they come down? 😂"

@world_baby321 humorously commented, "This is how you guys turned Nigeria to 🤣🤣🤣🤣."
