Tacha Akide, a popular reality star, has tearfully pleaded with Elon Musk, the CEO of Twitter, to restore her verification badge which was taken away due to the micro-blogging platform's new rule requiring users to subscribe to Twitter Blue if they want to keep their verified badges. The deadline for the subscription was April 20, and those who hadn't subscribed lost their verification badges. Tacha, who lost hers, lamented the loss of her badge and begged Elon Musk to restore it. She claimed that she is nobody without the badge and her continued relevance depends on the blue tick. Tacha made the plea on her Twitter page with an audio recording in which she calls out to Elon Musk asking for her verification badge to be restored.
