According to warrants released by the Broward Sheriff’s Office on Friday, May 24, Kingston and his mother are accused of collaborating to defraud businesses systematically, resulting in multiple counts of grand theft and fraud.

Turner was taken into custody during the Florida raid, while Kingston was apprehended in Fort Irwin, southern California, on charges of fraud and theft based on a Florida warrant.

Reports suggest that authorities seized items from the mansion and towed at least one vehicle parked in the driveway during the operation.

Allegedly, from October 2023 to March of this year, Kingston, his mother, and others, including individuals "known and unknown," obtained items worth over $100,000 from businesses like Mazal Jewelry Inc., Maree Inc., Ocean Auto Club, and Expimled FL under false pretences, according to the warrants.

The seized items include furniture valued at over $80,000, a Cadillac Escalade, and jewelry worth more than $400,000.

Earlier in the month, Turner faced a lawsuit from Curran Living Trust for $100,000 in unpaid rent, as per Broward County court documents obtained by USA Today.

Additionally, Kingston is entangled in legal issues with Ver Ver Entertainment, which sued him in February for breach of contract and fraud, alleging failure to pay for a 232-inch TV and premium sound system.

Court records indicate that the company claims Kingston leveraged his celebrity status, particularly his association with Justin Bieber, to negotiate the price. They seek $30,000 and attorney fees in a jury trial.
