Simi, the renowned songstress, recently opened up on social media about the reasons behind the delay in having a second child, even three years after welcoming her firstborn, Adejare Kosoko.
Recalling that Simi and her husband, singer Adekunle Gold, joyfully welcomed their first child, a daughter named Adejare, in May 2020.
In a recent video shared online, Simi, the talented artist behind the hit track "Duduke," openly discussed the reasons for not becoming pregnant again.
Simi revealed that after giving birth to her first child, Adejare, her body underwent several changes, one of which adversely affected her eyesight.
The singer further explained that she has been grappling with an eye defect that has worsened since the birth of Adejare.
Simi added that she visited a medical clinic three months prior, where the doctor advised her to wear corrective glasses as a solution to her eye condition.
