In a recent interview, the young singer denied the claims and emphasized that he has always respected his senior colleagues in the music industry. The rumors began in 2020 when Rema was seen venting online after an alleged incident at the BBNaija 2020 finale, which was won by reality TV star Laycon. According to reports, Rema's bouncers allegedly ignored Laycon and other housemates who wanted to take selfies with him, which led to an argument with Davido and the alleged incident where Davido reportedly slapped Rema. However, Rema has now cleared the air and stated that there is no bad blood between himself and Davido. He went on to praise the unity among Afrobeats artists, highlighting that despite individual egos and achievements, they have managed to achieve greatness together.
