Peter Okoye, a renowned artist, has extended his support to the veteran Nollywood actor, John Okafor, famously known as Mr Ibu. In an Instagram post, Mr. P described Mr. Ibu as a source of joy for countless people and called on the public to assist him both financially and with their prayers.
Sharing a heartfelt video in which Mr. Ibu and his family appeal for donations and prayers, the actor disclosed that his doctor had mentioned the possibility of amputating his leg if further medical interventions proved ineffective.
Despite being skeptical about amputation, Mr. Ibu sought prayers and expressed his apprehension about what life would be like without his leg.
Peter Okoye, reposting Mr. Ibu's account details, stated:
