A 25-year-old Nigerian man is facing public embarrassment after being exposed for fabricating claims of gifting a house to his mother, which turned out to be someone else's property.
On the social media platform 'X', user @Udyszn shared pictures of a house, asserting that he built it at the age of 25 and even posted a screenshot of his to-do list, claiming to have marked off "build a house for my mother." In the caption, he wrote, "Built a house for my mum before the age of 25. Thank you, Lord."
However, the genuine homeowner, who had posted about the house a year ago, discovered the tweet and exposed the falsehood. The real owner responded, “Congratulations on gifting my house to your mom without my knowledge.” This revelation led to criticism from other 'X' users for the deceptive act.
