Isaac Oyedepo, son of Living Faith Church’s founder, Bishop David Oyedepo, shares his health journey during a recent crusade in Ghana. Appointed Youth Pastor of the Youth Alive Fellowship (YAF) in September 2023, he disclosed his struggle with diabetes, high blood pressure, obesity, and multiple heart attacks while in the U.S.
Isaac Oyedepo revealed that despite these health complications, he survived, leaving his doctor astonished. He emphasized the importance of compassion gained through personal challenges and highlighted the healing mantle he now carries.
In his words: “I have passed through some things that I won’t tell you, it’s in the books you’ll read them. So, when you pass through challenges, rejoice. Particularly, there’s a healing mantle you may never be able to carry. Trace people, just watch, just do your trace, this mantle this man is carrying and ask the story. Let me tell you, I’m not saying you can’t carry the healing mantle without being sick before, but there’s a kind of compassion that in our human nature, we ordinarily cannot have except helped by the Holy Ghost."
He shared about the doctors' surprise at his survival and the revelation of the word of knowledge after his health challenges. Isaac Oyedepo launched his ministry, the Isaac Oyedepo Evangelistic Ministry, on November 28, successfully conducting numerous crusades within and outside Nigeria.
