A Nigerian man has ignited a social media discussion by acquiring tickets for himself and his girlfriend to attend Wizkid's concert in the UK.
However, what makes this story intriguing is his deliberate choice of seats situated far from the stage, driven by a desire to shield his girlfriend from potential interactions with the singer.
This incident unfolded in a video accompanied by the caption: "Got me and my girlfriend some nice tickets to watch Wizkid. Let’s see if he can try to call her on stage from here."
The man's precautionary measure stems from a recent event where Nigerian singer Omah Lay invited a girl on stage during a show, dancing with her provocatively while her boyfriend looked on, only for the boyfriend to go home alone.
In a bid to avert a similar scenario, the Nigerian man shared a video showcasing their seating arrangement at the concert venue.
He firmly believed that by positioning themselves far from the stage, Wizkid—the performing artist—wouldn't have the opportunity to replicate what Omah Lay did to someone else's girlfriend.
