Renowned Nollywood actress Omotola Jalade Ekeinde recently shared insights into her enduring 27-year marriage with Captain Ekeinde.
In a recent interview, she divulged some of the secrets sustaining her marriage for over two decades.
Omotola emphasized that the strength of her marriage lies in not trying to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with her husband, Captain Matthew Ekeinde.
According to her, a woman's submission to her man fosters respect, and women should not vie for equality with their male counterparts.
During the interview, the actress, who started having children at 19, shared that she doesn't personally go to the market to purchase food for her family. Instead, her husband takes on that responsibility.
Recalling a specific incident, she mentioned attempting to go to the market once, but her husband sternly warned her never to follow him again due to the attention and crowd that surrounded her.
