[p]Tochukwu Ojogwu, widely known as Odumodublvck, a fast-rising hip-hop artist, recently shared a remarkable story about his near-death experience and subsequent rise to fame. In 2022, just days after being discharged from the hospital following a major surgery, Odumodublvck received news from his friends that his song 'Picanto,' featuring Zlatan Ibile, had been endorsed by none other than Wizkid.
During an appearance on the Body & Soul podcast, hosted by fellow singer Joeboy, Odumodublvck revealed that this endorsement by Wizkid was a divine sign from God, signifying that he was destined for great success in his career.
Recalling the events, Odumodublvck said, "You can hear the way I'm talking? It's not because of these grills, it's because I did one operation. I almost died, but God kept me here right now. And the fact that God saved me, everything that was happening after that was not surprising."
He went on to explain the challenging recovery process, stating, "Ask my guys, I was eating baby food for two weeks. Apart from that, there were like sixteen stitches in my mouth, bro. The day Wizkid posted my stuff was the day I was being discharged from the hospital."
The moment he woke up and discovered that Wizkid had shared his song on Instagram, Odumodublvck felt a deep sense of reassurance and divine intervention. He expressed, "That was like the first thing that God used to tell me that, yo, I'm with you, everything that is going to be happening from here onwards, it's going to be more than what eyes have seen, ears have heard."
Odumodublvck's journey from a life-threatening situation to receiving recognition from a music icon like Wizkid serves as a testament to his resilience and the potential for greatness in his burgeoning music career.
