In response to the report, social media commentator Daniel Regha criticized Hilda, stating that she owes her popularity and success to Nigerians, and therefore her meet-and-greet event should be free as a gesture of appreciation. Several other users joined the conversation, expressing their opinions and concerns about the alleged event.

However, Hilda Baci, who recently broke the Guinness World Record for the longest cooking time by an individual, took to her Twitter handle to deny the report, labeling it as false. She clarified that she was not organizing any meet-and-greet in Abuja and that she would never ask anyone to pay for such an event.

When a Twitter user suggested that her response was merely damage control due to the negative reactions, Hilda defended herself, stating that if she had not addressed the issue, people would accuse her of allowing others to scam individuals. She further emphasized that she would have publicized the meet-and-greet on her social media platforms if it were genuine.

Hilda Baci's swift response aimed to clear the confusion and reassure her followers that she had no involvement in the alleged charging of fees for a meet-and-greet event. As the discussion continues online, her fans and supporters eagerly await her upcoming culinary endeavors and achievements.

Taking to her Twitter handle, she wrote, “Hi everyone, this is to inform everyone that I’m not doing any meet and greet in Abuja. I would also never ask anyone to pay for such. 🙏🏾 Thanks.”

When a Twitter user claimed that the tweet was just damage control in response to the reactions the alleged event triggered, Hilda responded;

“@CryptofixPro If I didn’t come out to say something, y’all would say I let them scam people. Now I’ve come out to let you know it’s not coming from me. It’s damage control 🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️ How would I do a meet and greet that I’m charging for and not post it on any of my social media platforms?”
