A Nigerian man has taken to TikTok to share a WhatsApp voice note he received from his girlfriend after seemingly 'selling her out'. Identified as @humble_dosh on TikTok, he disclosed that he provided his girlfriend's phone number to another man in exchange for N5000.
Shortly thereafter, he received a WhatsApp voice note from his girlfriend, in which she struggled to express herself in English but conveyed her feelings of betrayal towards him for giving out her number.
He captioned the post with: “POV; after selling my girlfriend for 5K.”
Reactions flooded in from TikTok users, with @nathanielayodeji2 jokingly suggesting that the money hadn't been spent yet, leaving room for a possible refund request. Rico commented on the perceived value of the girlfriend, while Naty Burger hinted at the potential for a refund. Daveken humorously proposed that the seller should give the buyer change to support the girlfriend's education.
