Nollywood actress Lilian Afegbai has taken to social media to call out comedian and actress Anita Asuoha, popularly known as Warri Pikin, regarding the issue of her upcoming wedding's aso ebi (traditional attire). Lilian, who has been friends with Warri Pikin since their university days, expressed concerns about the marriage plans.
In an Instagram video, Lilian shared her side of the story, explaining that Anita had publicly called her out for not purchasing the aso ebi. According to Lilian, Anita informed her about the event and sent her a message to buy the traditional attire. However, due to financial constraints, Lilian couldn't afford it and didn't make the payment for several months.
Lilian also mentioned that Warri Pikin had tagged her in a video, attempting to address the situation, but she chose to ignore it. However, Anita brought up the issue again, which left Lilian feeling hurt and pressured. Lilian expressed her dismay, emphasizing that Warri Pikin knew she was not in a relationship and yet still insisted on taking the little money she had managed to save.
In her words, Lilian said, "Anita is already married, while I haven't even found a successful boyfriend, let alone getting married. Anita asked me to buy her aso ebi. I am struggling financially, and yet you, who are already married twice, want to take my money. That's not fair. Just because someone is living a fake life doesn't mean they should suffocate others. I am living a constructive fake life."
The issue has sparked a debate online, with fans and followers sharing their opinions on the matter. It remains to be seen how Warri Pikin will respond to Lilian's call-out.
