The alleged arrest of Jasmine Okafor, the adopted daughter of Mr Ibu, has sparked a response from her amid the circulating news involving the Police Force.
As reported by Gistreel, the Police issued an official statement detailing the arrest of both Jasmine and her step brother, Daniel Oyeabuchi Okafor. The charges revolve around an alleged embezzlement of a staggering N55 Million from funds earmarked for Mr Ibu’s surgery.
According to gathered information from the statement, the siblings allegedly intended to leave Nigeria with the misappropriated funds, having already prepared their passports for an exit from the country.
Jasmine, in response to the news of the arrest, expressed strong sentiments, asserting that the amount involved exceeded the initially reported sum.
