Wunmi Aloba, who is the widow of the late musician known as Mohbad, whose real name was IleriOluwa Aloba, has made a concerning revelation about receiving death threats.
In an appearance at the Coroner's Inquest in the Lagos neighborhood of Ikorodu on Tuesday, November 7, Omowunmi shared the distressing information regarding these threats, which have compelled her to wear a face mask whenever she ventures outside.
Mohbad tragically passed away in his room on Tuesday, September 12, 2023, in the afternoon. His mother, Omowunmi, has attributed his demise to past incidents of bullying, psychological distress, and an arrest by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency.
She recounted that before the singer's passing, he had taken a shower and wasn't feeling well. He requested that the air conditioner in his room be turned on, but when it didn't work, they hurriedly moved him to his son's room.
According to Omowunmi, at that moment, she was in the kitchen, and upon returning, she witnessed a nurse administering an injection to Mohbad. She also heard the artist request that the syringe be removed.
Subsequently, they rushed him to the hospital. Mohbad was in the back seat of the car, and the driver expressed concern about his hands feeling cold.
