TolaniBaj, the Big Brother Naija reality TV star and DJ jockey, recently opened up about the profound impact her parents' divorce has had on various facets of her life.
She asserted that had her parents remained together, her trajectory wouldn't have led to superstardom.
TolaniBaj firmly believes that if her father and mother had stayed married, her educational pursuits would have taken precedence, potentially culminating in the attainment of the highest academic degrees and a secure position in the civil service.
According to her, her father, not being a fan of the entertainment industry, would have opposed her involvement in a reality TV show and discouraged any career related to show business.
Tolanibaj shared these insights on the latest episode of the Bahd and Boujee Podcast, a platform she co-hosts with actress Moet Abebe. In her words:
“If my parents were together, I don’t think I would be a celebrity. Because my dad was so anti-entertainment.
“I would just do master’s, Ph.D. My dad would even look for a job in the government for me. There’s nothing he would not do for me.”
