Member of the House of Representatives and Founder of prestigious Betting platform, NairaBet, Akin Alabi has revealed that he still relied on his mother for little sums of money as a 24 year old man.
The 42-year-old lawmaker representing Egbeda/Ona-Ara federal constituency in Oyo state, made the revelation on Twitter. Alabi said that as a 24 year old man, he still relied on his mother for N100.
He was reacting to the statement of a Twitter user, @Harryolah who lambasted men that are struggling and still broke at 24.
“You’ve failed as a guy, if you’re still broke at age 24,” the Twitter user wrote.
Then Akin Alabi replied via his handle @akinalabi ; “What kind of nonsense is this, this early morning? At 24, I still relied on my mother to give me as little as N100.”
