Popular Nigerian reality TV star, Erica Nlewedim, recently found herself in the midst of controversy after a medical doctor used a photo of her outfit to create a marriage-related topic for Nigerian mothers on Twitter.
The incident occurred when Erica attended the premiere of a Hollywood movie, Queen Charlotte, wearing an outfit that many deemed to be revealing. In response to the photo, a Twitter user identified as Dr. Penking reshared the image and asked his followers to respond as if they were Nigerian mothers meeting their future daughter-in-law in such an outfit.
“Mummy, this is Erica, the woman I want to marry. Reply like a Nigerian mother,” the doctor wrote.
Erica, upon seeing the tweet, did not take kindly to the doctor's post and lambasted him while emphasizing that he could only dream of marrying someone like her.
“Why bother? Even if you dream the rest of your life, you can never marry me. No need to tell your followers to imagine your mummy’s reaction. Now run along, razzie,” she wrote.
