Author, Dr Olakunle Soriyan, makes a bold claim that if, as a person, you’re never late to an occasion, it implies that you are poor.
He shared this opinion in an episode of the honest bunch podcast with host, Nedu.
He believes that as a person who has momentum in their lives and is wealthy, there are days when it becomes unavoidable to be late to an event.
However, if you go through life without going late for many events, always being punctual and showing up on time, it means you have nothing else to do.
When asked if in the scenario the person made effort to be on time, would it still connote poverty, he replied in the affirmative that as someone who is wealthy, there are things beyond one’s control.
