Regarding Wizkid, Don Jazzy revealed that the opportunity to sign him was already seized by Banky W, the CEO of EME Records. Consequently, Don Jazzy expressed his admiration for Wizkid's talent but acknowledged that he couldn't sign him due to this prior commitment.

As for Davido, Don Jazzy explained that he had the chance to sign him but ultimately decided against it. He believed in Davido's ability to thrive without the immediate support of a record label, showcasing his confidence in the young artist's potential and independence.

Additionally, Don Jazzy expressed regret for not signing notable artists such as Simi and Teni. He mentioned his fondness for their work but disclosed that he missed the opportunity to add them to his roster. He also revealed that he came close to signing the talented rapper Falz The Bahd Guy, but unfortunately, the deal did not materialize.

In Don Jazzy's own words, "I like Simi, I didn't sign her. I wish I did. I like Teni, but I didn't sign her. I wish I did. I had the opportunity of signing Davido but I didn't because I kind of figured that he would be fine. Wizkid, obviously, I couldn't because Banky W got to him first. That would have been amazing. Falz, I love his work. We almost had a deal."
