Controversial critic, Daniel Regha, has sided with Afrobeat artist, Davido, questioning the authenticity of a recent viral video featuring him.
Following the circulation of a photo showing the singer in a cozy position with American stylist Courtney, a video surfaced depicting Davido crying and pleading on his knees, posted by a friend of the model.
Daniel Regha stepped up to defend the "Feel It" singer, admitting Davido's involvement in numerous controversies is disappointing. However, he finds the video of Davido on his knees dubious.
To him, it appears to be a calculated move aimed at mocking him or generating unnecessary internet drama and debate.
In his own words: "Davido has been involved in a lot of controversies which is disappointing for a man of his status, but the video of him on his knees which is being circulated on the internet is very questionable. It seems like a deliberate act to either ridicule him or stir unnecessary drama & controversy online. Unfortunately, many people are quick to judge (without verifiable evidence) out of spite."
