In a recent conversation with media personality Chude Jideonwo, veteran Nollywood actor Chinedu Ikedieze, also known as Aki, delved into the reasons behind his decision to keep his family out of the public eye. The 45-year-old actor shared that he chooses not to showcase his wife and children on social media in order to provide them with a sense of "freedom."
He expressed, "I have children but I decided to put them aside because I’m the celebrity, they are not. I just want them to be free because the moment everybody gets to know them, it would affect them. And I don’t want that." He further added, "So, I hide them even my wife apart from our wedding announcement that I made, so that she can go to market, do every other thing without much ardour."
Chinedu Ikedieze, who tied the knot with his wife Nneoma Nwaijah in 2011, has deliberately chosen to maintain a veil of secrecy around his family's details, despite being blessed with children. The actor's perspective on safeguarding his family's privacy sheds light on the challenges of fame and its impact on personal lives.
