In an interview conducted by reality star Uriel on Pulse TV, Charly Boy addresses longstanding assumptions regarding his sexual orientation, which have often led many to speculate about his personal life based on his distinctive fashion sense and appearance.
Dispelling notions of being gay, Charly Boy explains that his feminine alter ego, whom he affectionately calls Linda, emerged during his time spent in America. This aspect of his persona is distinct from his sexual orientation, as he maintains a strong attraction to women. He humorously adds that if he were indeed gay, he would actively advocate for LGBTQ+ rights in Nigeria.
He also recollected that when he did the Charly Boy show, he had a female character he played, Mrs Zigizigi.
Charly Boy admits that a lot of people tend to get confused about his sexuality unless they know him personally.
