Charly Boy, has responded to allegations that he had a conversation with ex-president Olusegun Obasanjo about spearheading a protest in a leaked audio. The leaked audio allegedly contained a voice conversation between Charly Boy and Obasanjo discussing the outcome of the 2023 Presidential election and the need for a protest.
Speaking with SaharaReporters on a telephone call, Charly Boy denied ever making the call and claimed that his voice was doctored to achieve a purpose he knows nothing about. He also challenged those who spread the fake news, asking what they stand to gain by fanning the embers of discord.
Charly Boy went on to express his concern for the current state of Nigeria, questioning if the country is better off today, if Nigerians are living better, and if the election was free, fair, and credible.
