Famous transvestite, Bobrisky, has expressed his opinion regarding the recent arrest of over 100 crossdressers by the police in Delta State. In a post shared on his Instagram page, Bobrisky revealed that many people had sought his perspective on the Delta Crossdressers' arrest.
In his response, he began by asserting that the realm of crossdressing is not a path meant for everyone; rather, it's a distinctive class. He suggested that newcomers in this field could learn from the experiences of A-list crossdressers who have navigated the challenges that come with it.
What stood out in Bobrisky's commentary was his belief that the arrest of these individuals was warranted. He argued that the Nigerian legal system explicitly prohibits same-sex marriages, and this, he emphasized, is the crux of the issue. From his perspective, it was perplexing why these crossdressers proceeded with organizing a wedding event, fully aware of the legal implications. Bobrisky didn't mince words in stating that, in his view, they got what they deserved.
In Bobrisky's own words, as expressed in his now-deleted post, he stated: "Hey guys! I want to quickly address those set of guys who were arrested in Delta. You see, this class is not actually meant for everyone. But I strongly believe you can learn from those A-list. Firstly, there's a law passed against you guys that you can't marry yourselves in this country. Why the hell did you all call yourselves together to organize a wedding? That's the dumbest news I've read this week. You all deserve how you all were treated, sad truth. If you feel you are in love with your partner and you want to be together, why not relocate to where you are welcome?"
This statement encapsulates Bobrisky's perspective on the matter, and it underscores his belief that the actions of the arrested crossdressers were ill-advised in the face of existing legal restrictions in Nigeria.
