Big Brother Naija 10/10 housemate, Faith, has stirred conversations after hinting at a possible voluntary exit from the ongoing reality show, revealing that he is unhappy and dissatisfied with his stay in the house.
The medical doctor opened up emotionally during a late-night chat with fellow housemate Joanna in the garden on Friday, where he voiced his frustrations about the show’s impact on his mental and emotional wellbeing.
Faith described the show as both unproductive and draining, admitting that he feels the need to see a therapist. He went further to express how pointless his presence in the house feels to him, questioning whether staying longer would even add value to his career or personal growth.
“I want to see a therapist because I want to f**king leave. This is a waste of my time. What am I doing here? I know you don’t believe me, but I’m seriously considering it. I read about this show, the average time you need to spend on the show to actually make a career is five and a half weeks,” Faith stated passionately, leaving Joanna visibly surprised by his remarks.
Interestingly, Faith has now completed five weeks in the Big Brother house. He was among those nominated for eviction this week but narrowly survived after Head of House Rooboy drew a note with the inscription “Nullify nominations” during the Live Eviction Nomination Show. The twist led Big Brother to cancel Week 5 evictions entirely, giving Faith and other nominated housemates a temporary lifeline.
With this decision, Faith is safe from being evicted by public voting until the following week. However, under the rules of the reality show, any housemate still reserves the right to walk away voluntarily if they choose, and Faith’s latest statements suggest he may be strongly considering such a move.
His outburst and candid confession have since sparked a wave of mixed reactions across social media, where fans are divided. While some believe his frustrations are genuine and point to mental strain, others suspect it could be a strategy to draw sympathy or test how invested the audience is in his journey.
