Popular comedian Basketmouth is celebrating the birthday of veteran actress Patience Ozokwo by reflecting on their memorable collaboration.
On his social media pages, Basketmouth shared a throwback photo from their time on set for his movie, AGLS: A Ghetto Love Story. He reminisced about how he reached out to Patience Ozokwo for the film, recounting her generous response.
Basketmouth revealed that Patience Ozokwo agreed to join the project without asking for money or a formal contract, warmly referring to him as her son. He expressed deep appreciation for her support and highlighted the special coincidence of sharing the same birthday with her.
He wrote: “When I called Mama @patienceozokwo to be a part of #AGLStheMovie, without even asking for money or any contract, her response was ‘You know you’re my son. I’m there for you whenever you need me.’ That level of support meant the world to me. What a blessing to share the same birthday with a true General. I celebrate you always.”
