Senegalese-American artist, Akon, shared his perspective on two prominent figures in Afrobeat, favoring Davido over his well-known counterpart, Wizkid.
During an interview, Akon was asked to choose between Davido and Wizkid. He revealed that he often faces backlash for mentioning anything about Davido, indicating his preference for the singer.
Further pressed by the interviewer about Davido's tendency to shout, Akon agreed and even mimicked some of Davido’s vocal expressions, labeling him as the 'ultimate shouter'.
